teaching of Norwegian

Since 1993 teaching of Norwegian is held at the Norwegian-Pomor University Centre.

Eirik Bolstad, teacher in Norwegian

Today three teachers of Norwegian work at the Centre, one of them is Norwegian, Eirik Bolstad, he is a representative of Tromsų University (e-mail: eirik@pomorsu.ru), two others-those who graduated from the Norwegian department, faculty of foreign languages, PSU. The Norwegian language is learned by students from the faculty of foreign languages, the faculty of social work, faculty of management, department of journalism. Teaching of Norwegian for students from the faculty of foreign languages is considered to be a joint Norwegian-Russian project, within its frames students learn Norwegian on intensive base (14 hours a week), then be trained at the Humanitarian Institute, Tromsų University in a course of one semester. For students from other faculties learning Norwegian is a good chance to participate in joint Russian-Norwegian  educational projects and programs (in particular, “Pomor-project”- for students from the faculty of social work, “Teaching economics”- for students from the faculty of management).
