the frames of the Quota-program
The major of subjects offered to be
learned within the quota-program are for those students who have good command in
Norwegian. According to the program it is possible both to get a quota for the
university in different higher institutions of Norway and independent searching
from the quota-program catalogue. Traditionally students from the Pomor
University get places for studying in Finnmark College and Harstad College in
such specialties as “tourism and hotel business”, “business and
administration”, “social work and child care”, “management”. The
program is foreseen for 2-4 years studying (depended on a specialty), teaching
is held in Norwegian, there is a demand to come back to a native country after
period of studying. Within the frames of the quota-program 3 students of the
Pomor University are studying in Finnmark college, 4-in Harstad College, 12-in
Narvik college.
