coordination
of joint educational
and research projects in the field
of higher education
The Norwegian-Pomor University Centre
being the independent Norwegian-Russian cooperation project functions as an
initiator and participant of many other joint projects.
The Centre is the co-partner of the “Pomor-project”
– a long-period cooperation project in the sphere of social work between Bodoe
Regional University, Norway, Faculty of social work, Pomor State University and
Norwegian-Pomor University Centre. International activity and joint research
projects of the Centre for Women Studies and Gender Research have been
coordinated by the Norwegian-Pomor Centre. Teaching Norwegian for those who are
involved into the Barents cooperation is initiated jointly with Information
Barents Centre and granted from the Barents Secretariat. The research course “Social
policy and intervention from gender perspective” initiated by the
Centre is planned to be conducted in Arkhangelsk in June 1-5, 2000.
